for May 9 and May 11, 2011
May 9. Following two public hearings, Darke County Commissioners passed
new Flood Damage Resolution guidelines for various unincorporated areas
of Darke County. A letter was presented to the Commissioners by the DC
CIC to raise the county Conveyance Fees from $2.00 per thousand to
$3.00 per thousand, citing nearby county fees as supportive of this
request.

May 11. Darke County Commissioners accepted the letter from DC
CIC regarding the possible increase in Conveyance Fees. The
Commissioners resolved to hold two public hearing regarding the
increase. The first hearing will be Wednesday, June 15. The second
hearing will be Monday, June 20. Both will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the
Office of the Board of Commissioners, County Administration Building,
520 S. Broadway, Greenville, Ohio. Those wishing to attend either
hearing but need special accommodation, should call 547-7370 at least
four days prior to the hearing.
