baby put in microwave

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is in the process of
placing a billboard in Dayton based on the recent China Arnold trial.
The billboard, which juxtaposes an image of a person who is about to
cook a pork chop in a microwave with a picture of a mother pig nuzzling
her piglet, reads, “Everybody’s Somebody’s Baby. Go Vegan.”
Arnold, who allegedly killed her 28-day-old baby, Paris Talley, in a
microwave in 2005, was convicted May 13 by a jury.
“We are horrified at the thought of microwaving a baby, but we should
also think twice about putting a pork chop or chicken wing into the
oven,” said Ingrid Newkirk, PETA president.
“Babies of all species deserve protection from harm, and a fleeting
taste is not as important as respecting a mother’s love.”
PETA is in negotiations with Dayton outdoor advertisers about the
proposed billboard, which can be seen by clicking here.
