Drug buy-bust leads
to 2 arrests in Greenville
GREENVILLE, Ohio — Police in Greenville said they have arrested two
people accused of selling drugs.
Officers said on Thursday around 4:30 p.m., detectives conducted a
reverse drug buy-bust operation in the 400 block of Harrison Avenue.
During the operation, authorities said a juvenile brandished a knife in
an effort to rob an undercover officer. According to a police report,
the juvenile was assisted by 21-year-old Jesse Cheadle. Both then fled
on foot and were taken into custody after a foot pursuit, police said.
Cheadle was taken to the Darke County Jail and is being held without
bond on a charge of aggravated robbery. The juvenile was taken to the
West Central Juvenile Facility and is being held on aggravated
robbery charges.
