12-points

Another
poll shows Ohio voters
favoring repeal of Senate Bill 5, the collective bargaining reform
package, but
by a smaller margin than predicted in a previous survey.
The
University of Akron Bliss
Institute of Applied Politics reports that registered voters oppose
Issue 2,
the referendum question on Senate Bill 5, 37-25 percent while voters
favor
Issue 3 on the national health care law by 34-18 percent.
But
the survey found that voter
opinion on the two issues is fluid with a large number of Ohioans
lacking firm
views. That means the rival campaigns still have room to persuade
voters to
their side.
The
survey also found that Ohioans
overwhelmingly regard ballot measures as a legitimate way to make
political
decisions.
A
poll released Tuesday by Quinnipiac
University found Ohio voters support repealing Senate Bill 5 by 57-32
percent.
