David Goodman, and State Fire Marshall Larry Flowers, participated in a
wreath-laying ceremony at the State Fire Marshall’s headquarters in
Reynoldsburg, recognizing and remembering firefighters who have fallen
in the
last year.
Kasich
appointed Virginia M. Lindseth,
Ph.D., to serve as a member of the Ohio Board of Regents.

Trustees.

Ohio’s economic outlook.
Kasich
reappointed William Wells to
serve as a member of the Franklin Park Conservatory Recreation District

Gov. Mary Taylor spoke at the
Association of Ohio Life Insurance Companies Annual Fall Conference

Battelle’s new Center for Life Sciences Research in West Jefferson.
Kasich

serve as a member of the Ski Tramway Board, Mayor Donald Kuchta,

Hightower, and John Hull to serve as members of the Petroleum
Underground
Storage Tank Release Compensation Board, and Larry Long to serve as a
member of
the 9-1-1 Council.
Taylor
discussed the Common Sense
Initiative and her concerns with the impact of the federal healthcare
law on
Ohio at the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber.
Taylor
spoke at the Cornerstone Broker
Insurance Services Agency Annual Broker Expo, and discussed the
Department of
Insurance and efforts to improve the regulatory environment for the
industry.
