VERSAILLES - Midmark Corp., one of the region’s largest manufacturers,
has named a new chief financial officer.
On Friday, the Versailles-based health care products maker announced
Robert “Bob” Morris would join its executive ranks.
Morris had been serving as vice president of finance at Michigan-based
BorgWarner Drivetrain Systems, where he was responsible for combining
the former operations of BorgWarner’s Transmission Systems and
BorgWarner TorqTransfer Systems Inc. He also brings 23 years of
financial and managerial experience from Michelman and Arthur Andersen
and Co.
“Bob is a solid global financial executive with an impressive track
record,” said Dr. Anne Eiting Klamar, president and CEO of Midmark, in
a statement. “We are excited to welcome Bob and believe his overall
financial management expertise, and experience with international
finance and mergers and acquisitions supports Midmark’s ongoing growth.”
Midmark has been on a growth spurt fueled by acquisitions and the
release of new products. The company spans more than 300,000 square
feet and has more than 820 employees across five buildings on its Darke
County campus. It has about 1,300 total employees when counting
subsidiaries in California, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, India and
France.
Midmark makes just about everything found it an examination room — from
patient chairs and tables to cabinets, sterilizers and imagining
products — for the medical, dental and veterinary industries.
