Eagles burglarized
Do you know this person? If so, contact the Greenville Police
Department.
He broke into the Greenville Eagles downtown Lodge about 3:30 a.m. on
Thursday. The burglar attempted entry into a number of locked areas
within the Lodge before dragging a safe near the bar out onto the
parking lot and into his vehicle.
The Lodge’s daily operating funds and a variety of papers were in the
safe.
Aerie Worthy President Steffanie Baker contacted Eagles officers and
they worked together to make sure that the Lodge was open and operating
on schedule Thursday morning. The money stolen belonged to the Lodge’s
750 members, with proceeds used to benefit local charities.

Greenville police need help in solving burglary

GREENVILLE, Ohio — On Thursday, March 29 at approximately 5:07
a.m., officers from the Greenville Police Department responded to 113
East Third Street, Fraternal Order of Eagles, on a reported break-in.
An unknown suspect forced entry into the building and stole a safe. The
suspect caught on video is a white male, approximately 6’0” in height,
with a thin build. The suspect’s vehicle, also captured on video, is
dark in color. Still images of the suspect are available upon request.
The safe was later recovered in the 200-block of 13th Street in
Greenville.
