called for single-vehicle roll-over, teens ejected

On April 5, 2012 at approximately 7:00 PM Darke County Deputies, along
with Liberty Township Fire, Tri-Village Rescue and two CareFlight
helicopters were dispatched to a one vehicle rollover accident, with
two ejections in the 4900 block of Bishop Road.
Preliminary investigation revealed a teal 1993 Mercury Cougar, driven
by Nicholas R. Neal, 17, Greenville, Ohio was southbound on Bishop Road
and failed to negotiate a curve and drove off the right side of the
roadway causing the vehicle to roll two times before coming to
rest. Both the driver and the passenger, Cody D. Markham
Crawford, 17, Greenville, Ohio were ejected from the vehicle.
Both occupants were airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight
and are currently listed in fair and stable condition.
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s
Office.
