McAfee on drugs, guns and
money

Software
mogul John McAfee is on
the run again in Miami, but this time it's his mouth not his feet doing
the
work.
In
a wild interview Friday morning
on CNBC's Squawk Box, the 67-year-old who is wanted for questioning in
connection to a murder in Belize, talked about drugs, guns and money,
as well
as his weeks in hiding.
Here
are some of the highlights:

On money: "Any idiot can
make money, it's keeping it that's the hard part."

On guns: "It's certainly
accurate that I had guns and lots of guns but they were in the hands of
my
security guards. I live in a country, sir, that has the highest murder
rate in
the world, check it out on the Internet."

On drugs: His real stance on bath
salts? "If I decided to start using drugs again, I have the resources
to
use good drugs."
—
A day after saying he faked a
heart attack to get extradited to the U.S., he said this about about
hoaxes:
"I do love hoaxes and I love elaborate hoaxes. but not ones that
involve
my detention Guatemalan jails, the shooting of my dogs, the harm to
people.
This is not a hoax. If it is, it's the worst hoax in the world. How
could it be
a hoax...
