Motorcycle,
Pickup truck accident near Ansonia
On July 21,
2012 at approximately 3:02 PM, Darke County Deputies along with Ansonia
Fire,
Ansonia Rescue, and Versailles Rescue were dispatched to the
intersection of
State Route 185 and Greenville St. Marys Road on a reported crash
involving a
pickup truck and a motorcycle.
Preliminary investigation revealed that
a 2006 Harley Davidson
motorcycle, driven by Theodore Mottashed, 63, of Lebanon, was
southbound on
Greenville St. Marys Road when it failed to yield at a stop sign and
struck a
2011 Dodge Ram, driven by Aaron Schrubb, 36, of Piqua, which was
traveling
southeast on State Route 185. There
were
no injuries in the Schrubb vehicle.
Mr. Mottashed and his passenger, Brenda
Mottashed, 62, of Lebanon, were transported to Wayne Hospital by rescue
squads. Ms.
Mottashed was treated and
released at Wayne Hospital while Mr. Mottashed was transported to Miami
Valley
Hospital by Careflight. At
this time Mr.
Mottashed is listed in fair condition.
