Active
fugitive search ongoing
On July 15,
2012 at approximately 11:20 AM Darke County Deputies were dispatched to
the
7300 block of Spidel Road, in reference to a possible burglary in
progress. The
suspect was last scene
traveling west towards State Route 571 in a tan Honda.
Deputies observed a vehicle matching the
description approximately nine minutes later.

stop in the 7300 block of Erisman
Road, when the vehicle fled
During the
pursuit Deputies were advised the vehicle was stolen on July 11, 2012
from the
Versailles area in Darke County. The
pursuit lasted approximately 14 minutes traveling through the village
of Laura
in Miami County. Miami
County Deputies
joined the pursuit shortly before the vehicle ran off the roadway,
through a
beanfield, crashing into a woods.
The
suspect fled the vehicle on foot entering a large wooded area.
Also called
to the scene were Miami County Sheriff’s Office K9 and officer’s from,
Arcanum
Police, West Milton Police, Ohio Department of Natural Resources and
Ohio State
Patrol. Additional
K9’s from the
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Buckeye Search and Rescue and Ohio
State
Patrol’s Airplane.
Deputies,
K9’s and OSP Airplane searched the wooded terrain for the suspect for
approximately 4 hours without success.
The driver of the vehicle is identified as
Robert Scott Kindred (Scott) 42 year old white male, 5’08” 160 pounds
with
brown hair and brown eyes. Kindred
is
suspected of multiple other crimes in Darke, Miami and Shelby counties. Kindred has an active
arrest warrant for
parole a violation, if seen contact your local authorities or call 911.
