Locals enjoy reception at Official Governor’s Residence 

Ohio Federation of Republican Women President Jean Turner (center) and First Vice-President Lyn Bliss were among a number of invitees held by Gov. John Kasich at the Ohio State Official Governor’s Residence for a summer reception. 

The reception is an annual event sponsored by the Ohio Republican Party (ORP) and the governor in a Republican administration. Invitees included Central Committee members, County Chairs, Officers of state Republican groups and Delegates to the Convention. Also invited are those running for state office or already holding office. 

Statewide officers in attendance included Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor, Sen. Rob Portman, Secr. of State Jon Husted and Supreme Court Justice Robert Cupp. 

The reception followed an ORP Campaign Briefing and a Republican National Committee Training session at Capital University. 

Other locals in attendance included Al Bliss, and Darryl and Mary Ann Mehaffie.
