Motorcyclist
airlifted in Critical Condition
On June 9, 2012 at approximately 9:14 PM Darke County Deputies, along
with Ansonia Fire and Rescue, and Careflight from Miami Valley Hospital
were dispatched to the intersection of Kester Byard Rd and Riffle Rd,
in reference, to a motorcyle accident with injury.
Preliminary investigation revealed a 2012 Harley Davidson, driven by
Dwight David Idle, 55, Greenville, Ohio was south bound on Kester Byard
Rd when he failed to maintain control of his motorcycle. Idle
traveled off the east side of the roadway ejecting him from the
motorcycle.
Idle was airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital where he is listed in
critical condition. This accident remains under investigation.
