Boehner says House will repeal if Court
doesn’t strike it down

Congressman Boehner on ObamaCare: “If the Court Does Not Strike Down
the Entire Law, the House Will Move to Repeal What’s Left of It”
WASHINGTON, D.C. – At a press conference today, Congressman John
Boehner (R-West Chester) discussed Republicans’ plan for jobs,
highlighting next month’s House vote to stop the tax hike on small
businesses and reaffirming Republicans’ commitment to fully repeal any
part of ObamaCare left intact by the Supreme Court’s ruling, expected
tomorrow. Following is the text of Congressman Boehner’s remarks:
“You know, millions of Americans are out of work, and the president’s
nowhere to be found. He’s been out on the campaign trail since
last Labor Day, spending full time.
“But here in the House, House Republicans are going to continue to stay
focused on jobs and the economy, which is what we’ve done the last 18
months. Passed over 30 jobs bills, all on a bipartisan basis,
sitting over in the United States Senate.
“And next month we’ll move to stop the looming tax hike scheduled to
take effect in January.
“Now we all know the Supreme Court is likely to make some announcement
about ObamaCare tomorrow. We made it pretty clear, and I’ll make
it clear one more time: if the court does not strike down the entire
law, the House will move to repeal what’s left of it.
“ObamaCare is driving up the cost of health care and making it harder
for small businesses to hire new workers. Our focus has been the
economy, and it will continue to be the economy.”
