Motorcycle Accident turns Fatal
Seventh
Fatality on County Roadways this Year
On June 9,
2012 at approximately 9:14 PM Darke County Deputies, along with Ansonia
Fire
and Rescue, and Careflight from Miami Valley Hospital were dispatched
to the
intersection of Kester Byard Rd and Riffle Rd, in reference, to a
motorcyle
accident with injury.
Preliminary
investigation revealed a 2012 Harley Davidson, driven by Dwight David
Idle, 55,
Greenville, Ohio was south bound on Kester Byard Rd when he failed to
maintain
control of his motorcycle. Idle traveled off the east side of the
roadway
ejecting him from the motorcycle.
Idle was
airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital where he is listed in critical
condition.
On June 13,
2012 at 8:42 p.m. Dwight David Idle succumb to his injuries sustained
in the
accident.
This
accident marks Darke Counties seventh fatal accident on Darke County
roadways
in 2012.
This accident remains under investigation
by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
