Ohio office attack from Darke Co.

COLUMBUS —
One of the victim’s in the multiple stabbings incident in Columbus on
Wednesday
is a Columbus-area attorney from Darke County.
WHIO’s
Steve Baker has learned from a family member that Jeff Maloon, a Union
City
native, remains in the hospital after he was injured during the
stabbing spree
at the 25-story office building that houses Miami-Jacobs Career College
and the
Ohio attorney general’s office.
Police say
a man armed with three knives stabbed four men, the first an admissions
employee. The attacker was shot by police after running into the street.
Authorities
said the attack left four men in critical condition and one with minor
injuries.
Maloon, an
employee of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, is in stable condition,
an
improvement since the incident.
Maloon grew
up on the Ohio side of Union City and graduated from Union City
Community High
School in Indiana, according to the family.
