Receives Funds for Job Creation, Operations Expansion

company is a leader in human and animal healthcare industries

COLUMBUS —
State Senator Keith Faber (R- Celina) announced Monday the release of
$100,000
through a state Rapid Outreach Grant to assist Midmark Corporation in
their
efforts to expand operations and add new full-time positions.
Midmark is
a leading manufacturer of healthcare products that impact millions of
people
each day in the human and animal healthcare industries.
Located in
the City of Versailles, the company is currently placing more than $30
million
toward expansion plans. The
project is
believed to include the creation of 63 new jobs and the retention of
760
existing positions. The
recently
announced state funding will support the purchase of four MTS silent
flow
hydraulic pumps.
“This is
another great example of the state working on the side of quality
business
operations in Ohio,” said Faber. “I
commend Midmark on their continued excellence and commitment to our
region.”
Senator Faber represents Ohio’s 12th Senate
District which includes Allen, Champaign, Mercer, Preble, and Shelby
Counties,
and contains portions of Auglaize and Darke Counties.
He currently serves as President Pro
Tempore
of the Ohio Senate.
