Injury accident
on Hwy 36
Bradford - On November 24, 2012 at approximately 1:37 a.m. Darke County
Deputies, along with Bradford Fire and Rescue, were dispatched to the
9100 Blk. of US36 in reference to a single vehicle roll over accident.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2004 Jeep Liberty, driven by
Bobby Copeland (42) of Arcanum, was eastbound on US36. Copeland's
vehicle went off the left side of the road and drove up an
embankment. Copeland's vehicle then overturned and rolled back
down the embankment.
Copeland was treated at the scene by Bradford Rescue and was
transported to Wayne Hospital. Copeland's condition is unknown at this
time. Alcohol appears to be a factor in the accident.
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's
Office.
