BREAKING: At 11:16 CBS News called Ohio for President Barack Obama.
Obama has been re-elected President of the United States.
Associated Press and Fox News also called the vote for Obama.
As of 11 p.m. the race was down to Ohio, Virginia & Florida
Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney needed all three.
Democrat President Barack Obama needed only one of the three.
Obama got Ohio.
As of 11 p.m. CBS reported that the margin between Obama and Romney was
33,000 votes, or .7 percent. A dead heat.
Then, with 71 percent of the votes in and the percentage 49 percent to
49 percent, the race was called. Local CBS commentators questioned how
that call was made. Shortly after that, AP and Fox made the same call.
In Virginia, Fox News reported that Romney led Obama by slightly over
20,000 votes, 50 percent to 49 percent.
In Florida, Fox News reported that Obama led Romney by slightly over
40,000 votes, 50 percent to 49 percent.
