OEC Finds Issue 2 Primary Message False 

COLUMBUS - Ohio Republican Party executive director Matt Borges said the group supporting issue 2, Voters First, was hoisted by their own petard today following the Ohio Elections Commissions unanimous decision found probable cause the group made false statements on their website. 

"The elections commission dismissed all of Voters Firsts frivolous complaints against the Ohio Republican Party, but found probable cause with their cornerstone message that 'Politicians, lobbyists, and political insiders are prohibited from serving on the commission' is false," said Matt Borges. "How can anyone possibly take seriously an issue that its own supporters are lying about? The case to vote "no" on issue 2 has never been clearer."
