Romney
Bus Visits Greenville
Lyn
Bliss, Assistant Editor
The
Romney “Commit to Mitt” bus was in Greenville recently to help promote
the
Romney/Ryan campaign. The bus was in the area of the Darke County Board
of
Elections and was here to emphasize voting early and helping get out
the
vote. Pictured are
just a few of the
folks who kept the bus busy for the hour it was in Greenville.
Following
visiting the bus, a number of the attendees visited the Darke County
Republican
Headquarters, located at 110 North Broadway, Greenville. Snacks and
refreshments were served.
“What
a pleasure it was to see so very many Darke County Republicans come out
to
express their support of the Romney/Ryan campaign.” said Cindy Pike,
Darke
County Republican Party Chair. “Many asked what they could do to help
with the
campaign.”
Early
voting began on October 2. Early voting is done by visiting the Darke
County
Board of Elections, 300 Garst Avenue, Greenville. Voters are allowed to
cast
their ballot at the Board of Elections, any time up to 35 days before a
General
Election. October 9 is the last day to register to vote, or change your
address, for the November 6 General Election. Any questions regarding
voting or
the election, please call the Darke County Board of Elections at
937-548-1835.
Or you may also check with the Ohio Secretary of State by calling
