of Career Colleges and Schools is now taking applications for the 2013
Legislative Scholarship Program. The program offers over 400

The
scholarships are designed to
assist with tuition costs for certificate completion programs as well

program’s objective is to
prepare students with the education and training necessary to obtain
careers in

a time where most jobs require
some form of post-secondary education, it’s critical for students to
adequately
prepare for the workforce,” Beagle said.
“This scholarship program provides an
excellent opportunity for students
to obtain the skills needed to launch a successful career.”
To
apply for the scholarship, each
applicant must obtain the nomination from a member of the Ohio General
Assembly.
Nomination forms can be obtained from high school guidance counselors.
Completed forms must be submitted to the legislator’s office along with
a
statement of the student’s current GPA and a short personal essay
expressing
why the student should be nominated for the program. Final scholarship
