Joint
drug bust results in arrest of two
suspects
On
June 4, 2013 at approximately 7:00
p.m., a joint operation was conducted by the Darke County Sheriff’s
Office and
the Greenville Police Department with assistance from Greenville Rescue.
A
search warrant was executed at 118
Montgomery St. in Greenville following an
on-going narcotics
investigation. 28 year old, Donald L. Garrett Jr., was
arrested for Drug
Trafficking in cocaine and taken to the Darke County
Jail. While executing
the search warrant, investigators recovered a handgun, cocaine, heroin,
marijuana, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia, cash, and electronic
items.
Additional
charges for Drug Possession and
Having Weapons Under Disability will also be considered. The
Greenville
Police Department will be issuing a Notice to Abate a Nuisance to the
resident,
Courtney Weatherspoon, and the property owner, Larry Fourman.
Ruth
Caudill of Greenville was also
arrested on an outstanding bench warrant and found to be in possession
of
prescription pills and drug abuse instruments. She was taken
to the Mercer
County Jail.
