near Hollansburg
New Madison - On March 21, 2013 at 11:55 a.m. Darke County
deputies, along with Hollansburg Fire and Tri-Village Rescue, were
dispatched to the 900 blk. of Rush Rd. in reference to a single vehicle
accident into a pole.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix,
driven by Shannon Riley (38) of Arcanum, was eastbound on Rush Rd. when
her vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and struck a utility
pole. Riley's vehicle then overturned and came to final rest in a
field.

Witness at the scene reported that possibly a deer had ran in front of
Riley's vehicle causing her to swerve and go off the road. At
this time the accident remains under investigation by the Darke County
Sheriff's Office.
