says sequester will help conservatives make budget cutting progress

Jim Jordan says upcoming budget cuts under the "sequester"
process "won't be the end of the world" and will be an initial step
towards savings that represents a victory for conservatives.
On Wednesday, Jordan told a Capitol Hill press conference that he'd
prefer that the cuts have less of an impact on defense, but he believes
that they'll happen and will help the nation make progress towards
saving money.
“Conservatives in this House of Representatives are making a
difference," Jordan told a Capitol Hill press forum on Wednesday. "It
is is a complete change from what we saw in the last Congress."
He said the day after the House of Representatives said it would pass a
bill that would suspend pay for Congress members whose chamber fails to
pass a budget, New York Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer "finds Jesus and
says, 'You know what, the Senate is going to do a budget.' Imagine
that. They haven’t done it in four years…
