Shooting;
Brother Arrested for Felonious
Assault
On Friday,
May 18, 2013 at
approximately 10:43 p.m., the Darke County 911 Center received
a call from
a man reporting that he had just shot his brother. The caller
was
identified as 30 year old Kody Clark who stated that the incident had
just
occurred at his residence located at 41 Knottingham Wayin
Sherwood
Forest, Greenville, OH. Darke County deputies
along with the Arcanum Rescue Squad were immediately dispatched to the
scene.
Upon
arrival deputies learned that Kody Clarks’
brother, 24 year old Ky Clark of Mooresville, IN, had come to his
brothers
residence when shortly thereafter a heated argument between the two
ensued. Soon there after a single gunshot was fired by Kody
Clark towards
his brother, which struck Ky Clark in the left thigh.
Arcanum
Rescue transported Ky Clark
to Phillipsburg, OH where they were
met by Care Flight who then transported him on
to Miami Valley Hospital. At last
report Ky Clark was
listed in fair condition. Also present and asleep in the
house at the
time of the shooting was Kody Clarks’ eight year old son who was
unharmed.
Kody
Clark was arrested at the scene for
Felonious Assault and transported to the Darke County Jail.
The case will
also be forwarded to and reviewed with the Darke County Prosecutor’s
Office on
Monday, May 20, 2013 for further considerations.
This
investigation is ongoing.
