Two of Darke
County’s most wanted apprehended in Texas
On October 8, 2013, Darke County Crime Stoppers received information on
Joseph King and Tracey McCarty living in Anna, Texas. This
information was forward to Anna’s police department where Joseph and
Tracey were taken into custody without incident. Joseph and
Tracey have been on Darke County’s most wanted list since July after a
warrant was issued following an investigation by the Darke County
Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit. Both are wanted for illegal
manufacture of drugs, a felony of the 2nd degree, illegal assembly or
possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, a felony of the
3rd degree, and possession of criminal tools, a felony of the fifth
degree. Sgt. Chris Clark of the Darke County Sheriff’s Office
stated “this investigation started back in February when Darke County
Deputies discovered a meth lab at 9690 Greenville St. Mary’s Rd.”
Joseph King and Tracey McCarty will return to Darke County, pending an
extradition hearing.
