man found in vehicle in middle of road
Sheriff
Jeff Grey reports the arrest of an individual for possession of
drugs. Mercer County Central Dispatch received a call on April 4,
2014 at 6:39 PM of a vehicle sitting in the middle of the roadway and
the driver slumped over the wheel. Deputies responded to Township
Line near Oregon Road. Deputies found a burgundy Plymouth sitting in
the middle of the road. Deputies made contact with the driver 23
year old Jeremy J. Green of 1102 Canterbury Drive Celina. The driver
was found to be under the influence and was processed for OVI where
he refused to take any tests. Found inside the vehicle was 4
marijuana pipes, a marijuana bong, marijuana grinder, and a small
amount of loose suspected marijuana. Mr. Green was charged with OVI,
possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana. Mr.
Green was later bonded out.
