Ohio colleges
ranked in new ‘Money’ report
Ohio only had two schools in the top 100 list published by Money
magazine.
Ohio colleges evidently don’t offer the best bang for the buck, at
least according to Money magazine.
The publication examined 1,500 U.S. colleges and universities. They
were ranked by 17 factors across three equally weighted categories:
quality of education, affordability and outcomes.
And Ohio only had two schools in the top 100 (both between 90-100) and
then only two more in the top 150.
The top-ranked Ohio school was Kenyon College (No. 94), followed by
John Carroll University (No. 95) and the The Ohio State University and
Miami University, which tied at No. 144.
In terms of Dayton area schools, the University of Dayton was No. 223
and Cedarville University was No. 269.
The top-ranked school was Babson College (Babson Park, Mass.), followed
by Webb Institute (Glen Cove, N.Y.) and the Massachusetts Institute of
