Drug
bust results in arrest of two
Celina,
OH - Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey and Celina Police Chief Tom
Wale released details today of a joint investigation involving the
Ohio Adult Parole Authority, the Mercer County Sheriff's Office, the
Celina Police Department and the Grand Lake Drug Task Force.
On
Wednesday at approximately 3:15 PM an Ohio Adult Parole Officer
requested assistance checking on a parolee and ensuring his
compliance with parole orders. When they arrived at the residence,
violations were observed immediately. Officers then applied for and
received a search warrant for the residence located at 751 Deford
Street, Lot #100, Celina.
The
search of the residence turned up 36 suspected heroin capsules and 11
suspected Alprazolam pills and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia. Celina
Police Department's K-9 unit assisted in the search.
Dennis
Clutter, 54, and William Culver, 49, of the Deford Street address
were arrested and booked into the Mercer County Adult Detention
Facility on charges of drug possession. The cases have been sent to
the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office for review. Additional charges
are possible.
The
Mercer County Sheriff's Office, Celina Police Department, and Task
Force Officers continue to work together to battle the drug problems
in the community.
