to land one of 800 jobs at new P&G center in Dayton

The
new Procter & Gamble distribution center in Union will need
hundreds of workers.
The
$89 million, 1.8 million square foot distribution center being
developed by Prologis will begin operations in 2015, and hiring will
pick up in coming months, officials say.
The
center, near the Dayton International Airport, will ship a number of
P&G brands to Midwestern cities along the I-70 and I-75
corridors.
P&G
itself will only employ a few people at the center, with the majority
coming from two third-party companies, Westerville-based supply chain
company Exel Inc. will employ 600 while West Chester-based Quality
Associates Inc. will employ another 200.
Lynn
Anderson, a spokesperson for Exel, says about 50 positions for the
company will be salaried positions in management and administrative
support.
These
positions will be posted in the summer, starting in July or August,
she said. While some of the positions will be filled internally, the
rest of the positions will be published on Exel.com under “Join our
Team.” Applicants can create profiles on that site to be apprised
