Dayton RiverScape Developments
COLUMBUS– Senator Bill Beagle (R-Tipp City) recently traveled the Mad
River by kayak into Downtown Dayton for a firsthand view of the
riverfront improvements to RiverScape MetroPark funded through state
capital funds.
“Dayton’s redevelopment plans are gaining momentum and projects like
the RiverScape MetroPark and the RiverRun Mural will continue to make
Dayton a destination for young professionals and economic growth,” said
Beagle.
The Ohio General Assembly passed the state's capital budget in 2014,
which included over $330,000 for the Riverfront Enhancement Project and
RiverRun Mural Project. State investments were combined with local
contributions to make these developments possible.
