In the ballot, Trump is followed by Marco Rubio at 15%, John Kasich at 13%, Chris Christie at 12%, Ted Cruz at 10%, Jeb Bush at 7%, Ben Carson at 6%, Carly Fiorina at 5%, and Rand Paul at 4%.

Details of the live-interview survey conducted December 20-22 among 600 likely NH Republican primary voters can be found here.

Among registered Republicans (55% of likely Republican primary voters), Rubio leads with 16%, followed by Kasich and Trump at 15% each, Christie at 14%, and Bush and Cruz at 10% each.

While Trump leads with 27% among men (Christie is at 13%, Cruz at 12%, Kasich at 11, Rubio at 10%, and Bush at 5% among men), Rubio leads with 20% among women (Kasich is at 16%, Trump at 15%, and Bush and Christie at 10% each among women).

Also, the race is much closer among those likely Republican primary voters saying the will definitely vote in the primary. Trump leads with 19%, followed by Kasich and Rubio at 15% each, Christie at 13%, Cruz at 10%, and Bush at 8%.

When asked it they would consider voting for each of the candidates, 83% say they would consider voting for Rubio, 81% say they would consider voting for Kasich, 80% say they would consider voting for Christie, 74% say they would consider voting for Cruz, 50% say they would consider voting for Bush, and 37% say they would consider voting for Trump.

On the flip side, 57% of likely Republican primary voters say they would never vote for Trump, 47% say they would never vote for Bush, and 40% say they would never vote for Paul.

"Donald Trump is a weak frontrunner fortunate to have a crowded field," according to Dick Bennett, president of the American Research Group. "Rubio, Kasich, Christie, and Cruz combined have half of vote compared to 21% for Trump. And with 57% of likely Republican primary voters saying they would never voter for Trump, his upside is limited."

Democrat Results

Hillary Clinton leads Bernie Sanders 46% to 43% in the NH Democratic presidential preference primary.

Clinton leads among registered Democrats 52% to 37% for Sanders. Sanders leads among undeclared voters saying they will vote in the Democratic primary 54% to 36% for Clinton.

Details of the live-interviewer telephone survey can be found here.

Sanders leads among men 46% to 42% for Clinton. Clinton leads among women 49% to 41% for Sanders. Women, obviously, put Clinton in the lead.

Martin O'Malley receives support of 3% overall.

While Clinton and Sanders ballot numbers are within the margin of error, there is a 77% probability that Clinton is in the lead.

Have a great Christmas.
