Trafficking
Drugs in the Vicinity of a School
On January 21, 2015 the Darke County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit,
along with Greenville Police, executed a search warrant at 216 Victoria
Drive, Greenville. Erik Straub (35) of that address was taken into
custody without incident and transported to the Darke County Jail.
Straub is being charged with Trafficking in Drugs in the vicinity of a
school. This investigation stems from ongoing complaints of illegal
narcotics trafficking in the area. The search warrant produced
prescription medication, drug paraphernalia and other items indicative
of trafficking drugs.
Sheriff Toby L. Spencer takes a strong stand against the use of illegal
drugs and drug trafficking in our community. One of the most effective
weapons is the information received from concerned citizens who observe
and report illegal activities in their areas. Citizens are encouraged
