Three Ohio
colleges among top 20 friendliest in U.S.
Dec 29, 2014
The Midwest is a friendly region, so it's not surprising that
Midwestern colleges are filled with friendly students.
Niche, a website that offers rankings and statistics for schools,
neighborhoods and cities, has chronicled the colleges with the
friendliest students.
How does someone measure friendliness? In the absence of official
scientific metrics, the Niche rankings are based on survey responses
from students across the nation.
Ohio has three such schools in the top 20.
They are:
Franciscan University of Steubenville (No. 5);
The University of Dayton (No. 15); and
Oberlin College (No. 20).
This ranking may prompt more student applications for those seeking a
friendly college experience.
