Law Enforcement
Appreciation Day
Darke County Sheriff Toby L. Spencer
Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS) have declared Friday January 9,
2015 as Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (LEAD). In light of recent
negativity directed toward law enforcement nationally, Sheriff Spencer
is asking the citizens of Darke County to join him in a full day of
recognition for your local law enforcement officers.
Sheriff Spencer says, “Darke County is a great place to live, work and
raise a family. It is because of the citizens and residents that
make it a great place to serve as a Law Enforcement Officer”.
Sheriff Spencer further states that he is “extremely proud of the men
and women that work at the Sheriff’s Office and all other Law
Enforcement Agencies throughout Darke County.”
Sheriff Spencer would like to thank you in advance for your recognition
by whatever means you deem appropriate.
