arrests
Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey, Celina Police Chief Tom Wale and
Coldwater Police Chief Jason Miller report drug related arrests that
were made as a result of their joint HIT (Heroin Interdiction
Team).
On Friday July 10, 2015 at 4:46 PM a vehicle was stopped on East Main
Street near 8th Street in Coldwater. Arrested and taken into
custody was the driver Beverly S. Selhorst, age 20 from 3212 Slavik
Road Coldwater. Selhorst was charged with possession of drug
abuse instruments. Officers recovered a capsule with suspected
heroin inside, and what appeared to be two other capsules that appeared
old. Additional charges are pending urine test results.
Selhorst was incarcerated at the Adult Detention Facility.
A Second stop on Friday July 10, 2015 at 6:15 PM was conducted on US
Rte. 127 near Siegrist Jutte Road in Franklin Township. Arrested
and taken into custody was the driver Angela Storck, age 25 from 4010
US Rte. 127, and her two passengers: Cherokee M. Storck , age 31
from 4010 US Rte. 127, and Cheyenne Woodle, age 34 from 4010 US Rte.
127, Celina. All three were transported to the Adult Detention
Facility.
Angela Storck was charged with permitting drug abuse.
Cherokee Storck was charged with possession of heroin, obstruction, and
possession of drug abuse instruments.
Cheyenne Woodle was charged with possession of heroin, and obstruction.
Officers recovered two baggies containing rocks of suspected heroin,
and a syringe.
HIT is a combination and collaborate effort between Celina and
Coldwater Police Departments, and the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office.
