Injury accident
on U.S. 127
On June 16, 2015 at approximately 2:07 PM, Darke County Deputies along
with New Madison Fire, Arcanum Rescue, and Greenville Township Rescue
responded to the 3700 block of US RT 127 on a report of an injury
crash.
Preliminary investigation revealed a Silver 2006 Pontiac Montana,
driven by Alberta J. Plessinger 70, of Greenville, made a right hand
turn onto US RT 127 from the parking lot of Schultz Motors to travel
North on US RT 127 and was rear-ended by a Black 2006 Ford Freestyle
driven by Mackenzie Raynes 19, of Arcanum.
Greenville Township Rescue transported Plessinger to Wayne Health Care
for possible injuries, and Arcanum Rescue transported Raynes to Miami
Valley for possible injuries.
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's
Office.
