Fort Loramie Basketball Champions
COLUMBUS– Ohio Senate President Keith Faber (R-Celina) joined Senate
colleagues in honoring the Fort Loramie girls basketball team for
winning the 2015 Division IV State Championship title. The Lady Redkins
defeated Waterford High in a 55-48 final to win their second state
championship in three years.
"One state championship victory is impressive enough, but two gold
trophies in two years is phenomenal," said Faber. "I'm proud to
recognize Coach Carla Siegel and the members of the team for their
outstanding accomplishment."
The team's victory comes only three months after the Fort Loramie
volleyball team won the state championship, giving the school the rare
distinction of winning two state titles in one school year.
