Arthur George Crabtree... Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution - Child
Molesting - Adult Subject with a Prior - Arthur George Crabtree, a
convicted sex offender, is wanted for failure to appear in court on
allegations of child molestation and for being in violation of his
parole.
In March of 2012, a parole search of Crabtree's residence was
conducted, during which his laptop was seized. Analysis of the computer
revealed materials indicating that Crabtree was allegedly in contact
with children under the age of 18. On or about April 2, 2012, a warrant
was issued by the Superior Court of the State of California for the
County of Los Angeles, charging Crabtree with one count of child
molestation. A federal arrest warrant was issued by the United States
District Court, Central District of California, on July 25, 2012, after
Crabtree was charged federally with unlawful flight to avoid
prosecution.
Crabtree is also wanted by the California Department of Corrections and
Rehabilitation for violation of his parole.
Crabtree is a former police officer who may possess weapons and have
specialized training. He left the police force in 2000 to practice
family law.
Crabtree may have spent time in Mexico and/or Hawaii.
He is known to possess large amounts of cash. His last known address
was in Glendale, California.
