U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown
Send a Student to Washington, DC
U.S. Senate Page Program

As we begin the school year in Ohio, I encourage you to speak with your high school juniors about the U.S. Senate Page Program. Throughout the year, I have the honor of working with young Ohioans who aspire to make a difference. From Cleveland to Toledo to Cincinnati, it is clear that young people all over the state recognize that they have a stake in our country’s future.

Dating back to the 19th Century, the Senate Page Program has developed into one of our nation’s most rewarding public service programs for students. Pages have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and see their government in action. Responsibilities range from delivering correspondence to Senators to helping prepare the floor for the legislative workday. In addition, pages receive compensation for working on the Senate floor. Only 30 outstanding young Americans get this opportunity each session.

I encourage young Ohioans from all backgrounds and walks of life to apply for the highly competitive paid program. My office will be accepting applications for the spring sessions until November 2, 2015. The spring term is only available to female students. Interested students can apply on my website or by clicking here.

I encourage you to visit my website for more details and make it available to anyone who is interested in serving as a Senate page.

For any questions, please call my page coordinator in the Columbus office at 888-896-6446 or 614-469-2083. Thank you for all that you do in making a difference in the lives of so many young people.
