Judge orders
jail and probation for Wuebker
GREENVILLE – After pleading guilty in November to 12 counts of Sexual
Imposition, misdemeanors of the third degree, Darke County Common Pleas
Judge Jonathan P. Hein ordered Alan R. Wuebker to serve 90 days in jail
and up to five years probation.
The 1992 Versailles graduate was originally indicted in May 2015 on 12
counts of Gross Sexual Imposition, felonies of the fourth degree, after
a report was made about criminal behavior involving a teenage female
relative. According to the indictment, the offenses occurred from Nov.
2013 to Oct. 2014. After an extensive investigation into the case, the
state agreed to lessen the charges due to lack of evidence involving
force by the defendant.
Wuebker appeared in court Monday afternoon with his defense attorney
Ben Eberly to face sentencing for the multi-count conviction. Darke
County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Deborah S. Quigley, who sat in
for Prosecuting Attorney Kelly Ormsby that was unable to attend the
hearing due to illness, requested that Wuebker serve 12 months behind
bars… in addition to a community control sanction...
