First Model of
most Powerful Blender Assembled at Kitchenaid Factory
GREENVILLE, OH (March 29, 2016) – Tess Masters, author of “The Blender
Girl” and popular blog healthyblenderrecipes.com, yesterday assembled
the first model of the industry’s most powerful home blender at the
KitchenAid factory in Greenville, Ohio. Joining her were (from left to
right) Derek Ernst, global marketing director for KitchenAid small
appliances, Ken Hossler, senior director at Whirlpool’s Greenville
plant and Roberto Miller, senior manager of manufacturing operations.
“I'm delighted that KitchenAid, the most beloved appliance brand in the
United States, has now created the best blender in the world,” said
Masters, a native Australian now living in Los Angeles. “After
extensively using every major blender on the market, I'm so proud to
partner with KitchenAid on this major launch.”
Scheduled for availability in May, the new KitchenAid® Pro Line® Series
Blender will be offered in two models, both featuring a 3.5 Peak HP
motor, self-cleaning cycle and 10-year warranty. The upgraded model
adds a dual-wall jar for use in automatically heating blended
ingredients. Both will offer three pre-set recipe programs for Soup,
Juices and Smoothies. Williams-Sonoma will be the exclusive retailer to
debut the Pro Line® Series Blender in stores, in its catalog and on
williams-sonoma.com.
