Rollover crash on SR 571

On May 7, 2017 at 1:15 PM Darke County Deputies along with Pitsburg Fire, Laura Fire, Arcanum Rescue, and Careflight responded to a one vehicle, rollover crash in the 9100 block of State Route 571.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2003 Dodge Durango, driven by Dorcus McGuirk, 56, of Laura, was westbound on State Route 571 when she lost control of her vehicle and dropped off the right side of the roadway. Ms. McGuirk over corrected her vehicle and it overturned while going off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle came to final rest on its wheels.

Ms. McGuirk was transported by Careflight to Miami Valley Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
