Attorney General Mike DeWine
DeWine Issues 2017
Economic Development Manual
(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today announced that
the Ohio Attorney General’s Office has issued its 2017 Ohio Economic
Development Manual. First released in 2015, the manual is designed to
be a one-stop guide for businesses, elected officials, and economic
development professionals who are interested in promoting business
growth and job creation.
"The Ohio Economic Development Manual is designed to be a free,
one-stop reference for anyone working in the economic development
field. I believe it will continue to be a useful tool as we work
together to foster the growth of the Ohio’s high-performance economy in
the 21st century," said Attorney General DeWine.
The manual is designed to provide users overviews on Ohio laws, tax
systems, funding sources, and agencies that play a role in economic
development throughout Ohio.
The manual was first issued in 2015 and was the first single
publication or source that outlined all of the various economic
development laws and programs in the state. The 2017 edition reflects
changes in Ohio law that have occurred since the original 2015
publication.
Partner organizations who assisted and provided guidance in developing
the manual include:
Appalachian Partnership for Economic Growth
