Single injury accident on S.R. 571

On August 26, 2018 at approximately 0257 hours, Darke County Deputies along with Greenville Township Recuse, Greenville Township Fire, and Careflight where dispatched to the 3300 block of State Route 571 in reference to an accident with injury.

Preliminary investigation revealed a Black, 2012 Chrysler 300 driven by Austin Littlepage (22) of Greenville was traveling Northwest in the 3300 block of State Route 571. Mr. Littlepage failed to maintain control traveling off the right side of the roadway striking a mailbox and a tree before coming to rest. Mr. Littlepage was transported to a landing zone by Greenville Township Rescue, where he was transported to Miami Valley by Careflight and is listed in critical condition.

This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
