Chalmers family
requests help for Empowering program
Kendra Chalmers, her husband Michael and children Nevaeh and Kayden,
are asking for help for the Empowering Darke County Youth Program. They
have established a GoFundMe account and asked that you help by making a
small donation, then sharing the link with your friends on Facebook and
by email.
“It is my family’s mission to create a community environment that
supports all children in their academic endeavors,” Kendra Chalmers
said. “Many children struggle with learning and this nonprofit group is
able to offer free tutoring at no cost to their family. With the cost
of living rising we cannot afford to sacrifice any child’s future.
Please join me and my family as we continue to support our community’s
children through your generous donation.”
The goal is a nominal $600. If every County News Online reader donated
just one dollar, then shared it with their friends, that goal could be
