"One of the Best
Senior Pranks" Lands Parents Who Host in the News
Recently, a senior prank by students at Cumberland High School has
caught national media attention.
The students took half a car, some bricks, a tarp, duct tape, and a
Parents Who Host banner and set up what appeared to be a car crashed
into the school. Locals called police, who were so impressed with the
illusion, which caused no damage to the school, that they and the
school decided to leave it up until graduation.
Since the incident, USAToday, CBS News, CNN, People, several local news
outlets, the local police department, and more have reported on the
prank:
"Not only was the prank well executed, but it spread an important
message for teens and their parents. So the class of 2019 has big shoes
to fill next year." -
“If this is the worst thing our kids are going to do, we’ve got some
pretty darn good kids.” - Principal Ritchie Narges, Cumberland High
School, via Fox31.
"Hats off to the Cumberland High School Class of 2018 on your senior
prank...one of the best senior pranks CHS has seen" - Cumberland Police
Department.
Ours hats are off too – this is hands down one of the best senior
pranks we've seen. Not only did it not damage the school, but it raised
awareness about the risks and harms of underage drinking in a fresh,
eye-catching way.
