Frances C. Eikenberry
Frances C. Eikenberry, age 89 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 2:40
P.M. Thursday August 4, 2011 at the Brethren Retirement Center
Greenville, Ohio. Fran was born September 9, 1921 in Columbus,
Ohio and the daughter of the late William P. and Hazel (Livingston)
Crawford.
She retired in 1987 as Office Manager of the former Witt Plastics, a
position she had held for 15 years.
She was a member of the Ft. Jefferson United Methodist Church, enjoyed
playing golf, knitting and working in her yard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband
David K. Eikenberry November 22, 2000. They were married December
24, 1942.
Fran is survived by her daughters and sons in law Susan & David
Cooper of New Hartford, N.Y. and Ann & Dennis Myers of
Greenville. Grandchildren and spouses Joseph (Deborah) Cooper,
Benjamin (Tonia Major) Cooper, Jennifer (David) Stewart, Julie (Ron)
Kerg, and Lisa (Josh) Wilt. Great grandchildren Peter Cooper,
Nicholas Cooper, Kate Curran, Mary Stewart, Jane Frances Stewart, Paul
Stewart, Isaac Kerg, Cooper Kerg, Dane Wilt and Molly
Wilt.
Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family
in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Doug
Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville
Cemetery. There will be no public visitation.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
the Greenville Area Rescue Squad or Hospice of Darke County.
