Glenn W. Hammaker
Glenn W. Hammaker, 69, of Greenville, passed away December 8, 2011 at
his residence.
He was born August 10, 1942 in Dayton, son of the late William Walter
and Rose Ann (Pickett) Hammaker. In addition to his parents he was
preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Robert Hammaker.
Glenn worked as a handy man for several years. He was a veteran of the
US Army having served during Vietnam.
He is survived by his children, Guy (Donna) Hammaker of Ansonia, Robin
L. Hammaker of Greenville, and Gary (Carmen) Hammaker of Ft. Recovery;
10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, David (Angelic)
Hammaker of Florida, and Carl Hammaker of Texas; two sisters, Bonnie
Theibeau and Linda Bruns both of Greenville; good friends, Tom (Kathy)
Brinkman of Greenville; and his best friend from childhood, Donald
Sanders of Troy.
Gravesides services with full military honors will be held at 1 p.m.
Wednesday, December 21, at the Dayton National Cemetery, in Dayton, OH.
There will be no public visitation. The family requests that in lieu of
flowers memorial contributions be given to help off set final expenses.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in
Greenville.
